Ready or not, here I come

I'm at the Lisbon airport ready to catch my flight. The last few days were fun. I met some really cool people and checked out some good sights.
You know what I'm gonna miss - Pastel de nata. I went to another place where you can see them make it. I'm going to have to figure out how to make these at home.
Even Lisbon has been prompting me to go back home. The weather for the first two days was great and then two nights ago, it started pouring. It was also the night a few of us decided to go out for dinner. We all got soaked to the bone. My shoes are still wet 😂. The roads in Lisbon are cobbled and get super slippery. The winds were strong too, caused one guy to take a scary fall downhill (no serious injuries) but we managed to get back safe and sound.
Yesterday the rain continued but it was off and on so I managed to get out and hop into shops whenever it started raining. And in typical fashion, today is a beautiful sunny day 🙄.
Am I sad that the trip ended? Not really. I'm excited to be going home and glad that I did this. It was fun to push myself outside my comfort zone and explore the world (a little bit) by myself. I loved Portugal and had a great time here (obrigadah) but am looking forward to warm hugs at home and my own bed.
For those in Seattle, see you all soon!
