Past vacation recap

I'm not going to even try to explain why I haven't posted in a while, coz really, there isn't a good reason.
The last two years have been pretty bare on vacations but here is a quick recap post before I dive into the vacation I am currently on.
I was in New Zealand when the pandemic broke out. While living on a farm with a pig called Buttercup and two cows, we heard that COVID had reached Seattle. New Zealand was still quite safe so we decided to finish up our vacation before we headed back to the madness.
We loved, loved, loved New Zealand and hiked and drove and ate and hiked some more while there.
Here are some key highlights from two years ago:

Those were some quick snippets from our delightful trip to New Zealand. We then headed back home to lockdown and COVID and didn't really travel for two more years.
The next big deal was my sister's big fat Indian wedding. It was big, it was fun, and so very memorable. We all had a blast and made some lasting memories. Family gatherings are always the best and I am so grateful to have an amazing family thay I enjoy every moment with (on both sides).
Then, earlier this year, we headed over to India. Not really a vacation since we were both working but we wanted to be with our parents for my in-laws 40th anniversary and my dad's birthday.
We added on a Mumbai Darshan (tour of Mumbai) and had such a good time! As such, this trip deserved special mention. Just look at the smiles in the picture below.

Okay! That was a shortened summary of the trips from the last two years. Tomorrow, I will start a series of posts on our current shenanigans.
Until then! Namaste!
